April is our namesake who started the farm. April unfortunately passed away in August at 31 years of age after enjoying several great years of retirement with us! April was very loved & greatly missed on the farm!

Romeo is a Saddlebred gelding who is approximately 20 years old. He was previously an Amish cart horse. Romeo lives up to his name, he is very sweet and lovable and loves to be told how handsome he is!

Mae is a standard donkey who was adopted as a companion for April. Little did we know at the time that Mae was pregnant! Leo is Mae's three year old son. He was born on the farm on 2/4/22. Leo is very playful while Mae is more shy but both of them love treats very much!!

Onyx is a 16 year old retired racing thoroughbred who came to the farm a little over a year ago. Onyx is the biggest horse here but probably the gentlest. He is proving to be a great therapy horse and does great with kids of all ages!

Percy came to April's Acres for rehab for some serious hoof issues. Percy had a rough few months but has now healed and is starting to do rides for visitors! Percy has a silly, fun personality and loves attention!

Olivia is the newest member of April's Acres. She is an 18 year old saddlebred mare and has become best friends with Romeo! She has a sweet, loving personality and is planned to be trained as the owner's riding horse but she loves visitors!

We have 3 goats - Gracie, Blossom, and Coco. Gracie and Coco love attention while Blossom can be a little shy. Coco is silly and loves to run and jump sideways!!

There are 2 dogs on the farm - Tux and Axle. Tux and Axle are very friendly and will roll over for belly scratches .
