April's Acres offers a limited number of individual family farm tours and special events by appointment only. For either, you will have the opportunity to interact with horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, and dogs. You will have the opportunity to give treats, pet the animals, as well as possibly take a short ride on one of the horses. There is also the chance to have a horse or donkey "paint" a souvenir picture.
Approximately 1-2 hours interacting with and feeding the animals as well as hearing their stories.
Assisted ride around the pasture on one of the horses. Horse is chosen based on rider's size and experience.
Choose your colors, select one of our horses or donkeys, and they will paint you a picture!! "Who knew"?
Carrots, pellets, & feed available to treat the animals upon request.
Professional photographs with any or all of the animals for your special occasion.
We ask groups to be limited to 10 vehicles and no more than 15 participants.
